CedarNet CAP Sites

CedarNet Access Points (CAP Sites) are locations in and around Cedar Valley where libraries, businesses, and others have agreed to make available to the public a place where people can check their e-mail, explore CedarNet, and explore the World Wide Web. The sponsor agrees to provide a computer, telephone line, space for the CAP Site, and information/materials about CedarNet and its services. If you belong to an organization that might be interested in becoming a CAP Site PLEASE have someone cantact Virginia by leaving a message at the CedarNet Office at (319)233-5765.

The CAP Site Program could use older computers, modems, or monitary donations to place hardware out in the community for those sites that have out-dated equipment. Just as important, the CAP Site Program could use volunteer help to work with and at CAP Sites to educate users on the use of e-mail and the World Wide Web. No experience is necessary. If you are interested, PLEASE have someone contactVirginia by leaving a message at the CedarNet Office at (319)233-5765.
