| In May, 1860,
a Sunday School was organized at the Jockeytown schoolhouse,
a mile northeast of Hudson. This later became the first
United Brethren Church. In 1884, the church was moved into
Hudson. A new church was built there in 1900. In 1964, work
began on razing the old church, and the new church was completed
in 1964.
